Ordering

Where, when and how can I order?

I don't live in Australia. Can I still order a bike?

Stealth Electric Bikes deliver to over 40 countries world-wide.

For most countries you can simply place your order via the Stealth web store or order directly through your local Stealth Electric Bikes Authorised Dealer.

If you are unable to place your order via the Stealth web store, we may need to provide a special quote for your location. Please Contact us via our web form or email us directly at [email protected]

If you have placed an bike order via the Stealth web store, we will be in contact within 24 business hours to confirm specifications and delivery times.

Can I modify/cancel my order?

Modifications to custom-built bike Orders (6-8 week lead time) will be accepted one week from placement of your order. Modifications may include brake selection, fork selection, tyre selection or colour upgrades. All requests must be made to Stealth in writing and will be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation of custom-built bike orders (6-8 week lead time) will be accepted within one week from the placement of your order. A re-stocking fee of $500USD will be charged on all cancelled bike orders after the one week grace period. All requests must be made in writing via your dealer/sales agent and will be confirmed in writing.

Cancellations will be eligible for return of the purchase price of the product, less any shipping, customs, or other costs and fees including but not limited to finance or credit card fees incurred by Stealth Electric Bikes. These fees will be charged on all order cancellations and in addition to the $500USD restocking fee for bike order cancellations.

Can I finance my bike?

Yes. Stealth offers finance throughout Australia and the USA. For customers in other countries, please contact your Stealth Electric Bikes Authorised Dealer for finance options. Contact your nearest dealer here.

How do I make a payment?

The Stealth Electric Bikes web store accepts payment via credit card only. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact [email protected].  We do not accept cheque, bank draft, or money order.

Your local Stealth Electric Bikes Authorised Dealer may provide alternative payment options.

How much and how long will it take?

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping prices with vary depending on your geographical location and proximity to Stealth HQ in Melbourne, Australia. Shipping prices will be calculated at checkout when ordering via the Stealth webstore.

How long will it take to receive my bike (outside Australia)?

Depending your order and location, delivery times may vary.

Standard builds generally take 2-4 weeks with a 10 day door to door delivery time, while custom builds generally have a 6-8 week build time with a 10 day door to door delivery.

These times may vary slightly depending on seasonal busy periods such as Christmas or uncontrolled events such as customs clearance clearance procedures.

Stealth Electric bikes has no control over customs procedures in foreign countries.

When your bike arrives, it is your responsibility to communicate with your local transport company to organise an appropriate delivery date and time. Signature and ID is required at delivery.

It is your responsibility to cover tax, duties and fees that your local customs office may charge. When placing your order, you agree to pay your local customs agent directly for these costs.

How long will it take to receive my bike (Australia)?

When will I receive my parts order?

For international part shipments, except batteries, we use DHL Express. Within Australia we use Australia Post Express Postage, except for batteries.

Typically, we ship out the same or next business day after payment has been received.  Cut off for shipping is 2pm Monday-Friday Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Tracking Numbers will be supplied where applicable. We do not lower the value on international packages and you are required to cover any additional tax, duties and fees your local customs office may charge. It is your responsibility to pay your local customs agent direct for these costs.

Express Post time frames can be found on the Australia Post website, please check to confirm next day delivery eligibility.

Is my order insured during shipping?

Yes, Stealth Electric Bikes maintain insurance to cover all products until delivered. Title and risk of loss to all Stealth products will pass to you upon delivery.

Assembly

Getting it together

Will my bike arrive pre-assembled?

Your new Stealth bike will arrive in a crated and 90% assembled.

The battery for your new Stealth bike will arrive in a separate package, sometimes from a remote location.

Once removed from the crate, you simply, fit the cranks, pedals, seat post and seat before finally installing the battery.

Stealth HQ will provide your unique 4 digit electronic security code which will allow you to switch on the bike and take your first ride.

Do I need technical skills to assemble my bike?

As long as the assembly instructions are closely followed, most people with basic mechanical skills can assemble their Stealth using a basic set of metric Allen keys.

How long will it take to assemble my bike?

Even those with the most basic mechanical skills should only take around half an hour to assemble their new bike.  For those with more advanced skills, assembly time can be as quick as 10 minutes.

Warranty

What do I do if it breaks?

What does your lifetime warranty on frames cover?

This product has been manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Stealth Electric Bikes Pty Ltd. This Limited Warranty offered by Stealth covers defects in material or workmanship in new Stealth products. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Only consumers purchasing Stealth products from authorized Stealth retailers or resellers or through the Stealth website may obtain coverage under our Limited Warranties.

What is your warranty on electrical components and other hardware?

All components except for the frame carry a 12-month supplier warranty from the documented date of purchase.

What does your warranty not cover?

Our warranties do not cover any problem that is caused by:

A. Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

B. Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from (1) normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, alteration or extreme climates.

C. Accessories, connected materials and products, or related products not manufactured by Stealth Electric Bikes.

D. Damage from extreme riding activities such as back flips, competition racing, jumping, stunt riding, ramp jumping, or similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the product. Stunts and extreme riding which may be seen in our advertising are performed under controlled conditions using professional riders. They are for demonstration purposes only and similar riding activity will not be covered under our warranty.

Our limited warranties are void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any alterations (including removal of any component or external
cover).

How do I file a claim?

Stealth Electric Bikes will not provide any warranty coverage unless claims are made in compliance with all terms of the controlling warranty statement included with your product and you follow proper return procedure.

To request warranty service, you will need to contact the Stealth Customer Service Department and clearly provide information relating to the:

  1. The sales receipt or other evidence of the date and place of purchase.
  2. Full name, contact details (including telephone number and email address).
  3. Build number of the bike.
  4. A description of the problem.
  5. Images or video evidence of the problem.
  6. Delivery of the product or the defective part, postage prepaid and carefully packed and insured, to Stealth Electric Bikes or an agreed dealer.

When warranty service is completed, any repaired or replacement product or part will be returned to you postage prepaid.
